Itinerary

DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Your safari adventure begins as you touch down at Kilimanjaro International Airport
(JRO). Our team will be there to warmly welcome you and ensure a hassle-free transfer
to your comfortable accommodation in Moshi, where you can unwind and prepare for the
exciting journey ahead.

Note: Hotel check-in start at 02:00 PM. In case you need an early check-in we can
arrange it for an extra fee.

DAY 2: MATERUNI WATERFALLS & COFFEE TOUR

Today after breakfast at your hotel, our driver will collect you and proceed to Kilimanjaro
region at Materuni village where you will immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of
Materuni Waterfalls. Located near the town of Moshi in Tanzania, this natural wonder is a
must-visit destination. After a scenic drive through lush coffee plantations, you’ll embark
on a guided hike through the dense rainforest, surrounded by the sights and sounds of
nature.
As you make your way along the trail, the sound of rushing water will grow louder,
signaling your arrival at the Materuni Waterfalls. Prepare to be mesmerized by the
powerful cascade as it plunges into a clear pool below. Take some time to soak in the
beauty of the surroundings and cool off in the refreshing waters.

After your waterfall adventure, we visit a local coffee farm to learn about the region’s
famous coffee-making process. Savor the flavors of freshly brewed coffee and gain insight into the cultural significance of coffee in Tanzanian society. Later in the day you
will be taken back at your hotel in Moshi.

DAY 3: CHEMKA HOT SPRING

Maji Moto, known locally as Kikuletwa Hotsprings, is paradisiac oasis amidst the
Tanzanian savannah, offers captivating, Bounty-styled views, crystal-clean water and
dense vegetation around. Located in 2-hour drive from Moshi (Tanzania) – the main
climbing hub of the region – Chemka Hot Springs is the best place to visit after a
Kilimanjaro hike.
Chemka oasis is a unique phenomenon – it is the only place in Tanzania (and most
likely in the whole East Africa), where the groundwater actively interacted with
geothermal sources, forming a number of small lakes with warm, never-stagnating
water, which purity is not inferior to the best Dominican or Maldivian resorts.

DAY 4: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

You will drive to Tarangire, a “must see” for avid birdwatchers, boasting over 550
different bird species, the most diverse in Africa, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest
flying bird in the World! The Tarangire River runs through the park attracting a huge
number of elephants, buffalo, giraffe and antelope, particularly in the dry season between
June and October. It is not uncommon to see large herds of elephants roaming through
Tarangire savannah grasses or taking shade under the odd looking “upside down trees”
(baobab) that are dotted around the park. Following a morning game-drive you will be
transferred to Karatu at your tonight’s accommodation.

DAY 5: NGORONGORO CRATER

Embark on a journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “African Eden.”
Descend into the crater’s lush caldera, home to an astounding variety of wildlife, from
grazing herds to elusive predators. Marvel at the unique ecosystem of the crater, where
natural beauty and wildlife flourish in harmony.
Later in the evening, we’ll proceed towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park.
Upon arriving in the Central Serengeti, you’ll be greeted by the park’s abundant wildlife
and iconic savannah scenery. Enjoy an enchanting evening in the heart of the Serengeti
as you settle into your comfortable overnight accommodation.

DAY 6: FULL DAY IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Today is devoted to exploring the wonders of Central Serengeti. Rise with the sun for a
full day of thrilling game drives. Witness the incredible diversity of wildlife that calls this
region home, including the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos.
Keep your camera ready to capture unforgettable moments in this wildlife paradise. As
the day draws to a close, return to your cozy accommodation in Central Serengeti, where
the sounds of the wilderness will lull you to sleep.

Be one of only a few fortunate people to glide in a Hot Air Balloon over the Serengeti
Plains (available at supplementary cost by pre-arrangement). Floating silently above the
awakening bush, while spotting wildlife and enjoying the amazing scenery of Africa,
across rivers and over numerous small villages.

DAY 7: HALF-DAY IN SERENGETI PLAINS

Your adventure is not over yet! Spend the morning on a final game drive in Central
Serengeti, capturing those last incredible wildlife moments. Later in the afternoon, we’ll
transfer you back to Arusha, where you’ll spend your final night, reminiscing about the
extraordinary experiences of the past three days. Your safari adventure concludes with a
comfortable night’s rest in Arusha/Moshi before your departure the following day or with
a direct drop-off at the airport.

DAY 8 DEPARTURE DAY

With load of memories to cherish, this is the time to say goodbye to the team. On your
departure day, we’ll pick you up from the hotel and escort you to Kilimanjaro
International Airport (JRO), where you’ll catch your flight to back home.

Note: Hotel check-out is at 10:00 AM. In case you need a late check-out because of an
evening flight, you have the option to extend your hotel stay till 6:00 PM for an extra fee.
