Itinerary

Day 1: Lagos to Accra, Ghana (May 1)

 

  • 6:00 AM: Kick things off in Lagos, hopping into our air-conditioned ride – adventure awaits!
  • 1:00 PM: Pause in Lomé, Togo, for lunch  – a chance to chat and refuel.
  • 7:00 PM: Roll into Accra, Ghana, and check into the hotel to unwind.
  • Evening: Dinner’s your pick – explore solo or link up with others to eat out.
  • Stay: Comfortable hotel in Accra.

Day 2: Exploring Accra (May 2)

 

  • 7:30 AM: Breakfast at the hotel—fuel for a full day ahead.
  • 8:30 AM: Head to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park to dive into Ghana’s past.
  • 10:00 AM: Quick stop at Jamestown- snap pics by the lighthouse and feel the history.
  • 10:45 AM: Visit Independence Arch and Black Star Square – icons worth seeing together.
  • 11:45 AM: Stroll Makola Market—haggle for treasures and soak in the buzz.
  • 1:30 PM: Lunch break (self-funded) – grab a bite wherever you like.
  • 3:00 PM: Check out Gallery 1957 – modern art that’ll spark some thoughts.
  • 4:30 PM: Chill at Labadi Beach- horses optional if anyone’s up for it.
  • 7:00 PM: Back to the hotel to refresh.

Day 3: Elmina & Kakum Adventure (May 3)

 

  • 5:30 AM: Early breakfast, then we’re off from Accra for a big day.
  • 10:00 AM: Tour Elmina Castle – a UNESCO site with a story that sticks with you.
  • 12:30 PM: Lunch near Kakum National Park (self-funded) – time to recharge.
  • 1:30 PM: Hit Kakum National Park – walk the Canopy Walkway, hike if you’re feeling it.
  • 4:30 PM: Cruise back to Accra, soaking in the coastal views.
  • 8:30 PM: Land back in Accra.
  • Evening: Dinner’s on you- plenty of spots to choose from.
  • Stay: Accra hotel.

Day 4: Accra to Lomé, Togo (May 4)

 

  • 5:30 AM: Breakfast and checkout, then we’re Lomé-bound.
  • 9:30 AM: Arrive in Lomé – grab a snack or coffee (self-funded) to perk up.
  • 10:30 AM: See the Independence Monument – Togo’s pride in one stop.
  • 11:30 AM: Wander Lomé Grand Marché- shop and snap some pics.
  • 1:30 PM: Lunch break (self-funded) – try some Togolese flavors.
  • 2:30 PM: Explore Akodésséwa Fetish Market – the world’s biggest Voodoo market, wild and worth it.
  • 5:00 PM: Check into the Lomé hotel and kick back.
  • Evening: Dinner’s your call- solo or with the crew, you decide.
  • Stay: Lomé hotel.

Day 5: Lomé to Cotonou, Benin (May 5)

 

  • 6:00 AM: Breakfast, then we roll out of Lomé toward Ouidah.
  • 8:00 AM: Reach Ouidah – visit the Slave Route and Door of No Return, a heavy but powerful stop.
  • 9:45 AM: Peek into the Temple of Pythons – small but unforgettable.
  • 10:45 AM: Lunch in Ouidah (self-funded) – refuel and reflect.
  • 11:45 AM: Head to Ganvié Floating Village – see the “Venice of Africa” up close.
  • 3:15 PM: Push on to Cotonou.
  • 4:15 PM: Check into the Cotonou hotel- early evening to settle in.
  • Evening: Dinner’s on you – explore Benin’s food scene your way.
  • Stay: Cotonou hotel.

Day 6: Cotonou to Lagos (May 6)

 

  • 7:30 AM: Breakfast and checkout – last morning together!
  • 8:30 AM: Start the drive back to Lagos.
  • 9:00 AM: Stop at the Amazon Statue – snap a pic with Benin’s warrior women tribute.
  • 9:30 AM: Hit the road for Lagos.
  • 12:30 PM: Arrive in Lagos – time to say farewell and swap contacts!
  • Farewell: Thanks for the ride – see you on the next one!

When is the tour, and how much does it cost?

The trip runs from May 1st to May 6th, 2025. It’s ₦700,000, but book before March 30th, 2025, and it’s yours for the early bird rate of ₦640,000. Slots are very limited, so act fast!

 Can I pay in installments?

Absolutely! We offer installment payments to make it easier. Contact us at [insert contact info] to set it up, and secure your spot early—those limited slots won’t last long.

What’s included in the fee?

Your ₦700,000 (or ₦640,000 early bird) gets you 5 nights in comfy hotels (3 in Accra, 1 in Lomé, 1 in Cotonou), daily breakfast, air-conditioned transport with a skilled driver, and entry to all major stops – like Elmina Castle, Kakum National Park, and the Ouidah Slave Route – plus local guides. Everything’s set for an amazing adventure!

What’s not included?

You’ll cover lunch and dinner yourself, giving you the freedom to try local eats. Also on you: travel insurance (we recommend it), souvenirs, and optional extras like horseback riding or nightlife. Bring some cash for those!

Do I need visas as a Nigerian traveler?

Good news- if you’re Nigerian, you don’t need visas for Ghana, Togo, or Benin! Just bring your valid international passport (good for at least six months past May 1st, 2025) and your yellow card, and you’re set for the border crossings.
