Itinerary

Day 1 - Antananarivo capital city to Ambatolampy , Antsirabe .

Depart Antananarivo after breakfast and drive to Ambatolampy, known as the “City of Aluminum.” Enjoy lunch at a restaurant featuring handmade traditional pots crafted from recycled aluminum. Continue westward to reach the town of Antsirabe.

Day 2 - Antsirabe,lake Tritriva to Miandrivazo.

Leave Antsirabe and travel on National Road 34 towards the west. Witness the beauty of volcanic Lake Tritriva and the nearby Andraikiba Lake. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant on the way before arriving in Miandrivazo, the gateway to your Tsiribihina River adventure.

Day 3 - Adventure on the Tsiribihina River

Embark on a motorboat adventure on the Tsiribihina River, surrounded by stunning scenery. Cruise through the Bemaraha Gorge, spotting diverse bird species. Discover the cascading “Anosy Ampela” waterfall with its inviting swimming pools. Encounter Red-Fronted Brown Lemurs in their natural habitat. Camp overnight by the riverside, serenaded by traditional music and dance performances

Day 4 - Still on Tsiribihina river.

Continue your descent down the Tsiribihina River by motorboat. Visit the local village of Begidro, known for its tobacco plantations. Interact with the Sakalava tribe members. Witness a unique cliff housing bats, crocodiles, chameleons, and baobab trees. Set up camp by the river again, serenaded by traditional music under the stars.

Day 5 - Half day on the river.

Spend the morning cruising the final stretch of the Tsiribihina River. After lunch, disembark and embark on a 4-hour 4×4 journey to reach Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. Cross a river by ferry boat. Check into your hotel for the night.

Day 6 - Visit great Tsingy and small Tsingy

Day 7 - Bekopaka to Morondava

Depart from Bekopaka, the gateway to Tsingy, and travel to Belo sur Tsiribihina for lunch. In the afternoon, witness the awe-inspiring spectacle of the Avenue of the Baobabs at sunset, one of nature’s most captivating displays. Continue your journey to Morondava for the night.

Day 8- Morondava city -Mangroves and beach

Explore the fascinating world of the mangroves in Morondava during a 3-hour canoe trip. Unwind and enjoy the afternoon on the beach, soaking in the sun and the stunning sunset.

Day 9 - Morondava to Antsirabe

Embark on a full-day drive from Morondava back to Antsirabe. Stop for lunch in Miandrivazo

Day 10 - Antsirabe tour

Delve into the cultural side of Antsirabe with a city tour. Visit a village known for its traditional zebu horn craftsmanship. Explore the vibrant market specializing in precious stones, a hallmark of Antsirabe. Enjoy a rickshaw ride, a quintessential Antsirabe experience.

Day 11 - Antsirabe to Antananarivo

Depart Antsirabe for Antananarivo, concluding your Madagascar adventure.
